Post 4: Someone I would like to meet

Today I'll talk about two persons I would like to meet. The first one is Kali Uchis, a Colombian singer and songwritter. Despite of the fact she's Colombian she mainly sings in English, but she has some very good songs and covers in Spanish. I think I like everything about her. I love her voice and how she highlights the women's experiences in her songs singing about very usual topics but from a different point of view. Also, (this may sound a little ingenous) I feel close to her because she publishes in her social networks things like... I don't know how to say it but like "Latin" things... I'll say it with an example. Days ago she posted a photo with a part of the lyrics of a song of a Colombian tv serie (no breasts no paradise) and I recognized it inmediatly so I said WOW we both see that, we're like friends? haha. I'd really like to be her friend.

The second person I would have liked to meet is Bob Marley. I really like his music and the political beliefs behind it. I'm really interested in the Rastafari culture because I think it's very powerful. He and his music were a symbol of peace in Jamaica. I know he has some reproachable behaviors but I still think that his figure is very important for freedom fights, especially the one of the black people.
